--Abu Dhabi National Oil Co., known as Adnoc, is considering bids for specific BP assets and has held consultations with bankers on the move, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.

--Adnoc is most interested in BP's liquefied natural gas and gas fields, and isn't interested in its oil production assets or refineries, according to Bloomberg.

--Any acquisition would likely be carried out by Adnoc's international unit called XRG, according to the report.

--Adnoc referred questions to XRG, which declined to comment, while BP also declined to comment, Bloomberg says.
