Duluth Holdings said Tuesday that it has reduced its workforce by 51 employees, or about 3%, as part of a cost-cutting program.
The apparel brand better known as Duluth Trading Company said it incurred less than $1 million in expenses from the job cuts.
The layoffs were designed to reduce complexity in the business and increase Duluth's focus on brand awareness, product innovations and exceptional customer service, the company said.
Earlier this month, Duluth reported a wider loss and lower sales in its most recently completed quarter.
