Baker Hughes, an energy technology company, and Repsol, a global multi-energy company, have announced an agreement to deploy next-generation digital capabilities through the Leucipa™ automated field production solution. This includes a generative AI-powered virtual assistant designed to enhance production with real-time insights and predictive analytics. The collaboration aims to streamline operations in plunger lift wells and reduce monitoring time for engineers. The partnership, initiated with a memorandum of understanding in October 2024, will also focus on developing new features for emissions forecasting and flow assurance management. This initiative underscores a commitment to advancing intelligent, efficient, and sustainable production methods in the energy sector.
