Citius Pharmaceuticals (CTXR) said Tuesday it entered into definitive agreements to purchase 4.92 million shares of its common stock and accompanying short-term warrants to buy up to 9.84 million shares at $1.22 per share and an accompanying short-term warrant in a registered direct offering.
Shares sank 21% following an increase in intraday trading volume to over 5.2 million from a daily average of about 1.9 million.
J.M. Smucker (SJM) shares sank 14.5% amid heavy trading after the food producer's full-year earnings outlook missed Street expectations and fiscal Q4 sales lagged analysts' estimates.
More than 10 million shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 1.18 million.
XCF Global (SAFX) shares sank 28% a day after the company said its class A common stock began trading on the Nasdaq under the "SAFX" ticker.
More than 133,000 shares traded intraday compared with a daily average of 44,500.
