1155 ET - Cineplex is enjoying a full slate of releases which are helping the box office numbers. TD Cowen's Derek Lessard says in a report that the May box office was solid thanks to strong line up of releases that is "more representative of the normal release cadence," as well as stronger consumer demand for the theatrical big screen experience. Lessard says that he maintains a positive outlook on the 2025 box office, which should in turn drive meaningful margin and free cash flow growth for Cineplex and push the share price closer to our C$16 target over time. Shares are down 0.1% at C$11.47, still 6% lower year-to-date but 55% higher over the last 52 weeks. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
