AGL Energy (ASX:AGL) renewed its partnership with Velocity Frequent Flyer, the loyalty program of Virgin Australia, to offer points to customers investing in customer energy resources, according to a Wednesday statement by the company.

Eligible customers can earn velocity points over five years by purchasing batteries, solar battery bundles, and electric vehicle chargers, the company said.

The points can be redeemed for a return economy flight from Brisbane to Athens on Qatar Airways, the company added.
