G50 (ASX:G50) said preliminary mineralogical studies identified gallium-bearing minerals at its Golconda project in Arizona, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Gallium was found in muscovite, kaolinite, and potassium-feldspar, and further test work will start this month to develop a method for concentrating the minerals and extracting gallium, the filing said.
