Cornish Metals Inc. has announced the receipt of significant grant funding for its Bartles Foundry project at the South Crofty tin site in Cornwall, UK. The grant, amounting to up to £4,190,500, comes from the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme and is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This funding will cover up to 62% of the project's total estimated cost of £6.8 million, facilitating the construction of critical infrastructure such as workshops, stores, and offices. The project, aimed at advancing South Crofty's transition to production, will provide local employment opportunities and enhance the UK's domestic mineral supply. The funding is exclusive to Cornish Metals Inc., demonstrating robust local and governmental support for the revitalization of tin mining in Cornwall.
