China Longyuan Power Group's (SHE:001289, HKG:0916) power generation in May rose 1.5% year on year to 6.7 million megawatt hours, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing on June 6.

During the same month, the Chinese power company's wind power generation increased 8.7% and photovoltaic power generation jumped 75% year on year.

For the first five months of the year, the company's total power generation fell 1.5% year on year to 33.9 million MWh.
