Hu Xiangwei retired as Yunnan Energy International's (SGX:T43, HKG:1298) chairman and an executive director with effect from the conclusion of the firm's annual general meeting, a Friday filing with the Hong Kong bourse said.

On the same day, executive director Zhu Yingxue was appointed as chairman and ceased to be the chief executive officer.
