Yuexiu Transport Infrastructure Limited has released its unaudited operating information for April 2025. The report highlights various changes in toll traffic volume and revenue across its projects. The GNSR Expressway experienced a monthly decline of 8.1% in average daily toll traffic volume but saw a slight year-on-year increase of 2.6%. Despite a 9.3% drop in monthly toll revenue, there was a modest year-on-year growth of 0.7%. The Cangyu Expressway reported a 14.7% increase in month-on-month toll traffic volume, although it decreased by 5.4% year-on-year. Its toll revenue fell by 2.5% monthly and 3.0% annually. Conversely, the Changzhu Expressway saw a 5.5% decrease in monthly traffic volume and a marginal 0.6% year-on-year decline. However, it achieved a 4.3% increase in toll revenue compared to the previous year. Weixu Expressway's traffic volume dropped by 6.5% monthly and 7.1% year-on-year, with a 6.2% decline in toll revenue month-on-month and a significant 12.5% decrease from the previous year. The company attributes these variations to factors such as competition from new infrastructure and ongoing reconstruction projects that have diverted traffic. Shareholders and investors are advised to interpret these statistics cautiously.
