Southern Cross Gold Consolidated (ASX:SX2) said that results from infill drilling at the Rising Sun and Apollo prospects at its Sunday Creek gold-antimony project in Victoria delivered high-grade results, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
Significant intercepts encountered during the infill drilling included 3.9 meters at 124.9 grams per tonne grade of gold equivalent, containing 124.6 g/t grade of gold and 0.1% grade of antimony from 705.9 meters, as well as 2.1 meters at 16.5 g/t grade of gold equivalent, containing 12.6 g/t grade of gold as well as 1.7% grade of antimony, from 578.4 meters.
Two of the infill drill holes reproduced high-grade zones and validated its geological model. Around 20 holes are currently being processed and analyzed under the drilling program, while eight additional holes are actively being drilled.
