- The Federal Trade Commission is considering restrictions on Omnicom OMC.N and Interpublic IPG.N to prevent the combined company from refusing to place ads on platforms for political reasons.

- Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Thursday that the United States had no involvement in Israel's unilateral strikes on Iran but had been told that Israel considered the attack necessary for its self-defense.

- An Air India flight bound for London crashed only seconds after takeoff in western India on Thursday, plunging into a local medical college and killing more than 260 people, officials said.
