MOVES-JPMorgan picks veteran insider O'Donovan to head international consumer bank, memo shows

June 16 (Reuters) - JPMorgan Chase JPM.N has named veteran Mark O'Donovan as head of its international consumer bank, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters on Monday.

O'Donovan, a nearly 30-year veteran of the largest U.S. bank, will steer a business that serves more than 2.5 million customers in the United Kingdom and is planning further growth.

He will also oversee Chase UK and Germany with an eye on future market expansion, as well as Nutmeg, JPMorgan's European investment arm, and its strategic investment in Brazilian digital lender C6.

In the new role, he will relocate to London and take over as incumbent Sanoke Viswanathan moves to research and analytics firm FactSet FDS.N as CEO.

O'Donovan most recently served as the chief financial officer of JPMorgan's commercial and investment bank. Bregje de Best has been tapped to replace him, the memo showed.

Most recently, de Best co-led global corporate banking with James Roddy, who will now continue as sole head.
