Asian Equities Traded in the US as ADRs Decline in Friday Trading

Asian equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts fell Friday morning with the S&P Asia 50 ADR Index dropping 1.8% to 2,276.20.

The decliners from North Asia were led by tech company Tuya (TUYA) and autonomous driving technology company WeRide (WRD), which fell 6.1% and 5.9% respectively.

They were followed by data center service provider Vnet (VNET) and electric vehicle maker Xpeng (XPEV), which shed 5.1% and 4.3% respectively.

The decliners from South Asia were led by HDFC Bank (HDB), which fell 2.8%, followed by ICICI Bank (IBN), which dropped 1.4%.

From North Asia, the gainers were led by courier service provider BingEx (FLX) and gaming company DoubleDown Interactive (DDI), which climbed 9.7% and 6.8% respectively.

They were followed by financial services company CNFinance (CNF), which added 2.9%.
