Air New Zealand Limited has entered into a strategic partnership with Air China and Tourism New Zealand to boost travel demand from China to Aotearoa. The collaboration, which marks the tenth anniversary of the alliance between Air China and Air New Zealand, aims to stimulate inbound tourism by investing nearly half a million NZD into the Chinese market. Over the next year, Air New Zealand plans to invest more than $700,000 in marketing efforts through strategic partnerships to attract Chinese tourists. This initiative is part of a broader effort to recover and grow New Zealand's visitor economy, which is crucial for creating jobs and supporting local businesses. New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon highlighted the importance of this partnership in strengthening economic and cultural ties between China and New Zealand.
