June 20 - (The Insurer) - Concert Group's chief claims officer Kenneth Carter has taken on the additional role of chief risk officer, the company said on Thursday.

Carter, who joined the company in October 2024 as chief claims officer, will now oversee risk management across Concert Group's various carriers, including Concert Insurance Company, Concert Specialty Insurance Company and Harmony Re.

The role of chief risk officer was previously held by chief actuary Sam LaDuca, who will continue in his position as chief actuary.

Carter previously spent 24 years at Merchants Insurance Group, including as vice president of claim operations. Prior to that, he worked at Allstate Insurance Company.
