True North Copper (ASX:TNC) said reverse circulation drilling at different prospects across its Cloncurry copper project in Queensland revealed new zones of copper-gold-cobalt mineralization, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The results yielded 14 meters at 0.8% copper, 0.1 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold, and 749 parts per million of cobalt from 68 meters, including 6 meters at about 1.4% copper, 0.2 g/t of gold, and 1,040 parts per million of cobalt.

The company now plans to conduct electromagnetic surveys, re-model existing data, undertake 3D modelling of downhole optical scanning, geology, and mineralization, and design drilling programs at the project.

Shares of the company fell nearly 7% in recent Wednesday trade.
