0804 GMT - SK Hynix will likely post better-than-expected 2Q earnings partly on its strong performance in the high-bandwidth-memory market, HSBC analysts Ricky Seo and Hankil Chang write in a note. They expect the South Korean memory chip maker's operating profit to jump 65% on year to KRW9 trillion for the April-June quarter. HBM products are forecast to account for half the company's total 2Q DRAM sales, with the 12-layer HBM3E product taking the lead, the analysts say. They expect SK Hynix to start to ship more advanced HBM4 products from 4Q and maintain its market leadership in the HBM4 segment until 2026. (kwanwoo.jun@wsj.com)
