Encompass Health Corporation has announced preliminary plans to construct a new 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in North Las Vegas, Nevada. This facility will cater to patients recovering from serious health conditions such as strokes, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and complex orthopedic issues. The hospital will deliver 24-hour nursing care and offer physical, occupational, and speech therapies, managed by specialized healthcare professionals. The design includes private rooms, a therapy gym with advanced technologies, an activities of daily living suite, and various other amenities. The hospital is slated to open by 2028 and will mark Encompass Health's fourth location in Nevada, enhancing access to rehabilitative care in the region.
