Baidu (HKG:9888) is ramping up efforts to attract artificial intelligence talent through its largest-ever recruitment campaign, the South China Morning Post reported on Monday.
The AIDU annual recruitment initiative, aimed at developing future AI tech leaders, saw job openings jump 60% this year, though the company did not disclose the total number of roles, the report said.
Baidu is hiring across 23 business units and 11 research areas, including large language model algorithms, foundational architecture, machine learning, speech technologies, and AI agents, the SCMP wrote, citing a company statement.
"Baidu will train future AI navigators the way pilots are trained," the company said, emphasising its commitment to securing top-tier AI talent, SCMP added.
