Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell is set to testify before Congress next week. This past week saw the Federal Reserve hold interest rates steady, while leaving the door open to cuts in the second half of the year. Tesla is expected to roll out a limited number of robotaxis on Sunday, and Nike is among the companies set to report earnings next week. Here's what to watch for:

Sunday, June 22

-- Robotaxi launch: Tesla's long-awaited rollout of its self-driving cabs is tentatively scheduled in Austin, Texas on Sunday, Chief Executive Elon Musk said on his social media platform, and is expected to include a limited number of Model Y cars. The first driverless trip from the factory to a customer's house is scheduled for June 28, Musk's birthday.

Monday, June 23

-- Economic data: Existing home sales for May

-- Fed speakers: Governor Christopher Waller and Vice Chair for Supervision Michelle Bowman will speak at the International Journal of Central Banking Conference in Prague at 3 a.m. ET and 10 a.m., respectively. Governor Adriana Kugler will speak at a separate event at 2:30 p.m.

Tuesday June 24

-- Earnings: Cruise operator Carnival (a.m.), FedEx (p.m.)

-- Economic data: The FHFA housing-price index and the S&P Case-Shiller home-price index are both expected for April. Consumer confidence results for June will also be released.

-- Fed speakers: Chair Jerome Powell will testify before the House Financial Services Committee at 10 a.m for the Fed's semi-annual monetary policy report. Governor Michael Barr speaks at a separate event at 4 p.m.

Wednesday, June 25

-- Earnings: General Mills (a.m.), Micron Technology and Jefferies Financial (p.m.)

-- Economic data: New home sales data for May; EIA weekly petroleum report

-- Fed speaker: Chair Powell will testify before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs at 10 a.m.

Thursday, June 26:

-- Earnings: Spice maker McCormick and drugstore chain Walgreens (a.m.), Nike (p.m.)

-- Economic data: Weekly jobless claims, durable goods orders for May, the third estimate for first-quarter GDP, pending home sales.

-- Fed speaker: Governor Barr speaks at 1:15 p.m.

Friday, June 27:

-- Inflation and spending data: The personal-consumption expenditures price index, the Fed's preferred gauge for inflation, is expected, along with personal income and spending data for May.

-- Other economic data: The University of Michigan's final consumer sentiment survey for June. Preliminary results showed that sentiment picked up this month after recent dire readings.

-- Fed speaker: Governor Lisa Cook speaks at 9:15 a.m.
