Granite Construction Inc., in partnership with Contri Construction Company, has formed Southern Nevada Construction Partners (SNCP) to lead the preconstruction phase of the Paradise Hills Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Project for the Southern Nevada Water Authority. This project is a key part of SNWA's Horizon Lateral Program aimed at enhancing water delivery and system reliability in Southern Nevada. Granite will oversee various construction tasks, including excavation and the installation of pump station structures, while Contri will handle the installation of a 120-inch pipeline. The preconstruction phase is set to be completed by December 2026, with construction beginning in January 2027 and completion expected by January 2030. The project involves significant infrastructure work, including a 22,000-foot water pipeline and a new 65 million gallons per day pumping station. Granite's portion of the contract is valued at $240 million.
