The fund, which marks a 60% increase from its predecessor, attracted strong backing from both existing and new investors, including institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals across multiple continents. Fund VIII aims to invest in the U.S. middle market by partnering with founders and management teams, focusing on control investments in sectors such as consumer, business, healthcare, and industrial services. The fund has already deployed 17% of its capital into three companies, including American Restoration, FoodScience, and Thermogenics, leveraging Morgan Stanley's extensive resources and expertise to drive growth and value creation.
