Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. $(HPE)$ has announced a strategic partnership with KDDI Corporation to open the Osaka Sakai Data Center by early 2026. This collaboration aims to support startups and enterprises with NVIDIA AI infrastructure for developing AI applications and training large language models. The data center will benefit from HPE's advanced cooling technologies, combining air cooling and direct liquid cooling, to power high-performance AI systems while minimizing environmental impact. The partnership will deploy a rack-scale system featuring the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 platform, based on the latest NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. Both companies aim to accelerate the adoption of AI solutions in Japan and globally, enhancing energy efficiency and delivering innovative services.
