Pure Hydrogen (ASX:PH2) unit, Real Energy Queensland, has secured a 15-year Potential Commercial Area (PCA) approval from the Queensland government for its Windorah Gas project, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The PCA covers the same area as Authority to Prospect 927 (ATP 927), in which the company holds a 100% operating interest, and extends the permit through June 2040, the filing said.

The ATP has also been extended until Sep. 30, 2027, the filing added.

Shares of the company fell 1% in recent trade and earlier hit a new five-year low.
