June 26 - (The Insurer) - MS Amlin has appointed Gisela Nilsson as senior underwriter for political violence, the company said on Thursday.
Nilsson most recently served as political violence class underwriter at Talbot Underwriting.
She previously held various underwriting roles at Hiscox London Market, contributing to the development of the aviation and terrorism portfolios.
Her appointment follows the recent hire of Osama Elshiekh as senior underwriter for credit and political risk in the Middle East and North Africa region.
MS Amlin said the moves reflected its ambition to build a market-leading credit and political risk franchise with global reach.
