Shares of Korea Aerospace Industries (KRX:047810) fell nearly 3% on Friday after Yonhap News reported that the company signed a second contract worth 2.39 trillion won with the Defense Acquisition Program Administration to produce 20 additional KF-21 fighter jets, including logistics support.
According to the Thursday Yonhap News report, the latest deal follows a 1.96 trillion-won agreement in June for the first 20 units, with all 40 jets to be delivered by 2028. The Air Force is set to receive the first batch in the second half of 2026.
