Prudential (HKG:2378, SGX:K6S) repurchased 729,953 shares on the London bourse on Thursday at an average price of 9.3123 pounds sterling apiece, a Friday Singapore bourse filing said.
The insurer intends to cancel the repurchased shares.
Following the buyback, Prudential will have 2,585,112,400 shares in issue.
