GCL Energy Technology (SHE:002015) said Shanghai Qichen has trimmed its stake in the company to 36.8% from 42.7%.

Shanghai Qichen agreed to transfer its 5.3% stake to Jinzheng Desheng No. 1 Fund for 977.6 million yuan, according to a June 28 filing with the Shenzhen bourse.

Shares of the polysilicon products manufacturer jumped 10% in recent trade.
