Stamford Tyres' (SGX:S29) attributable profit to equity holders declined by 88% in the fiscal second half to SG$520,000 from SG$4.4 million a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
Shares of the company were up over 2% in early Monday trading.
Earnings per share dropped to SG$0.0022 in the six months ended April 30 compared with SG$0.0185 in the comparable period.
Revenue was up 4.6% year over year to SG$93.2 million from SG$89.2 million, due to higher sales in the North Asia and Southeast Asia markets.
