Northern Trust Wealth Management has appointed Abel Montañez as President of the West Region. Montañez, with nearly 25 years of financial services experience, will lead a team providing investment management, trust and estate planning, private and business banking, and financial consulting across the Western U.S. He succeeds Marc Cosentino, who retires on July 1. Montañez previously served as Executive Vice President and Head of Private Banking & Wealth Management at City National Bank.
