ICE Reports Record Open Interest in Natural Gas, Oil Markets

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) said Monday its natural gas and oil markets reached record open interest in June.

The company reported open interest of 24.2 million in natural gas futures on June 25 and 17.6 million in oil futures and options on June 24.

ICE also recorded a daily volume record of 9.69 million energy futures contracts on June 13, driven largely by Brent and Gasoil trading, the company said.
