Marimaca Copper (ASX:MC2) found high-grade, sediment-hosted copper sulfide and oxide at Pampa Medina in Chile, expanding the deposit in all directions, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Drilling at the deposit targeted extensions of shallow oxide-chalcocite mineralization, revealing sediment-hosted copper mineralization, with further drilling intersections suggesting potential extensions to 1.4 kilometers by 1.2 kilometers, the filing said.
The company expanded its diamond drilling at the deposit and allocated a 14-hole follow-up program, according to the filing.
