Xiamen Jihong (SHE:002803, HKG:2603) expects a 55% to 65% rise in attributable profit for the first half of 2025 to between 112.2 million yuan and 119.4 million yuan from 72.4 million yuan in the year-ago period, a late Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing said.

Shares of the packaging and marketing services provider were up over 1% in Thursday afternoon trading.

The anticipated higher profit was mainly due to an increase in demand for paper packaging from customers of the FMCG paper packaging business wing, as well as a higher revenue and profit from the cross-border social ecommerce business segment.
