Adriatic Metals (ASX:ADT) achieved commercial production at its Vares silver operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, maintaining plant throughput levels of 75% over 14 days, and reaching 90% at 2,000 tonnes per day in late June, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Mining activities at the Rupice mine are progressing with 900 meters of underground development completed in the second quarter, the filing said.

Shares rose more than 2% in morning trade on Tuesday and earlier reached an all-time high.
