Major digital assets rose late Wednesday, with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) exceeding the $109,000 level.

The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 4.2% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.7%, the S&P 500 advanced 0.4%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average eased 0.1%.

Bitcoin was up 3.7% at $109,491, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume surged 17.7% to $52.5 billion.

Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 7.1% to $2,586.

XRP (XRP-USD) jumped 4.2%, BNB (BNB-USD) gained 2.7%, Solana (SOL-USD) rose 4.6%, Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) gained 7.5%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) climbed 9.8%.

The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.289% at 3 p.m. ET Wednesday, up from 4.249% Tuesday, while the five-year yield rose to 3.870% from 3.839%.

The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 3.9% in the past 24 hours to $3.38 trillion, with trading volume up 22.3% to $121.1 billion.
