Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) said results from exploration and extensional reverse circulation drilling at the Sandstone project in Western Australia returned high-grade gold mineralization at all prospects drilled, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The company encountered an intercept of 1 meter at 38.3 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 46 meters at the Hacks West prospect, 4 meters at 17.4 g/t grade of gold from 110 meters at the Havilah deposit, and 11 meters at 2.3 g/t grade of gold from 109 meters at the Bulchina prospect.
Reverse circulation drilling is ongoing at the project, with the drill rig currently at the Musketeer deposit completing extensional drilling at depth outside the current mineral resource, before moving to the Lords Corridor prospect for exploration drilling.
The company's shares were up over 2% in recent Thursday trade.
