ITI Bags Orders Worth INR880 Million

Telecom manufacturing company ITI (NSE:ITI, BOM:523610) has secured orders worth 880 million Indian rupees in the states of Odisha and Chhattisgarh, India, according to a Wednesday filing to the Indian bourses.

The company secured an order worth 540 million rupees from the Cuttack Development Authority for the procurement and installation of CCTV surveillance cameras at different locations of Cuttack in Odisha, along with the setup of a traffic signal system.

The Cuttack Development Authority also awarded the company a 230.5 million-rupee contract for a land intelligence management system through a GIS-based application from the Cuttack Development Authority.

The company also won a contract worth 117.2 million rupees from the Chhattisgarh Infotech Promotion Society (CHiPS) for the implementation and upgradation of WLAN/LAN infrastructure at Mantralaya and HoD Bhawan at Nava Raipur in Chhattisgarh.

The company's shares were down nearly 1% in recent trade.
