Key ASIC (KLSE:KEYASIC) bagged a 13.1 million ringgit AI chip design contract from an unnamed technology company, according to a Tuesday Malaysian bourse filing.

Shares jumped about 13% in afternoon trade on Wednesday.

The chip will be delivered in six to nine months and is expected to generate recurring income for several years, it said.
