ACME Solar (NSE:ACMESOLAR, BOM:544283) has placed an order of over 3.1 GWh of battery energy storage system (BESS) from global energy system suppliers including Zhejiang Narada and Trina Energy, according to a Monday filing to the Indian stock exchanges.

The order will support the deployment of BESS across ACME Solar's multiple renewable energy and battery-linked projects, scheduled for commissioning over the next 12-18 months across various states in India.

The delivery of BESS will be in a phased manner over the next four to eight months of the current fiscal year.
