FedEx Corporation has announced a collaboration with FUSO to introduce 12 all-electric trucks into its ground transportation fleet in Taiwan, marking it as the first international logistics company to implement electric delivery vehicles in the region. The first batch of six electric trucks is already operational. These new vehicles are designed to meet urban delivery demands with high endurance and strong torque, offering up to 200 kilometers of range on a single charge. The initiative is part of FedEx's broader strategy to achieve global carbon neutrality by 2040. The transition to electric vehicles is expected to significantly reduce energy costs and enhance operational efficiency, supporting the sustainable development of Taiwan's logistics industry.
