Samsung Electronics to Debut One UI 8 with Enhanced AI Security on New Foldable Smartphone

Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) will unveil its next foldable smartphone featuring the official One UI 8 on Wednesday, July 9, in New York, the electronics products maker said in a Tuesday release.

The updated interface introduces advanced security and privacy tools, including a new feature called KEEP, or Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection. KEEP creates encrypted, app-specific storage spaces to isolate and protect sensitive user data, particularly that used by Galaxy AI's Personal Data Engine, the release said.

The update will launch with the new foldable device and expand to more models ahead, it said.
