CGN New Energy's (HKG:1811) power generation totaled 1,403.5 gigawatt-hours in June, down 1.3% from a year earlier, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Mainland China's solar projects led gains with a 27.5% year-on-year rise, while wind output fell 4.2%. Generation from gas-fired and hydro projects in China dropped 30% and 18.9%, respectively. Output from Korean operations slipped 0.6%.
In the six months ended June, solar and wind generation in mainland China rose 11.5% and 4.1%, respectively. Gas-fired output dropped 42.5%, hydro declined 28.4%, and Korean projects were down 9.4% year on year.
Shares of the company were down about 2% in recent trade.
