Aerometrex (ASX:AMX) has signed a major 12-month contract worth around AU$1.1 million, excluding goods and services tax, with QGC, a subsidiary of Shell, to provide light detection and ranging (LiDAR) and aerial imagery surveys of Shell's Queensland assets, with potential for additional revenue through optional extra captures, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The project will be delivered in key milestones and is expected to be completed by fiscal year 2026, with options for contract extension and standard termination rights, all under the company's usual commercial terms, the filing added.
