Alvotech Names Linda Jonsdottir Finance Chief as Joel Morales Departs

Alvotech's top finance executive, Joel Morales, is leaving the biotechnology company to spend more time in the U.S. and prioritize time with his family.

Alvotech on Thursday said it has hired Linda Jonsdottir, a former executive with food-processing-technology company Marel, as its new chief financial officer, based in Iceland.

Morales, who was based in the U.S., had been Alvotech's chief financial officer since February 2020 and will continue to serve in an advisory capacity to assist with the transition, the company said.
