July 11 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening flat on Friday, with futuresFFIc1 down 0.02%.
* FLUTTER ENTERTAINMENT: Flutter Entertainment FLTRF.L will buy Boyd Gaming's BYD.N 5% stake in FanDuel in a deal worth about $1.76 billion, giving it complete ownership of the online betting operator, the companies said on Thursday.
* HEATHROW AIRPORT: Britain's Heathrow Airport said it could serve an additional 10 million passengers per year by 2031 by making changes to existing terminals if it can increase fees, as it presented its plans for the next five-year period to the regulator on Friday.
* HOUSING: The number of families living in temporary accommodation in England has more than doubled since 2010 due to a lack of affordable housing and high rents, and the problem could worsen without government action, a think tank warned on Friday.
* UNILEVER: The Magnum Ice Cream Company, a unit of Unilever ULVR.L, appointed Jochanan Senf as the global chief executive officer of Ben & Jerry's, effective mid-July.
* COMMODITIES: Oil prices steadied in early trading on Friday following a 2% drop in the previous session, gold rose, and copper prices on the London Metal Exchange and the Shanghai Futures Exchange were rangebound, easing from an initial shock of the U.S. announcement of a 50% import tariff effective August 1.
* FTSE: The UK blue-chip index .FTSE closed at an all-time high, and rose 1.2% on Thursday, boosted by gains in mining and healthcare stocks, as investors brushed off the latest U.S. tariff threats to focus on negotiations.
