July 9 - (The Insurer) - Arch Capital Group has promoted Ondine Bourrut Lacouture to active underwriter of Arch Syndicate 1955 at Lloyd’s, the company said on Wednesday.

Lacouture succeeds Simon Williams, who will continue his role as chief strategy and distribution officer of Arch Insurance International that he has held since 2018.

Williams had served as active underwriter of Syndicate 1955 since it was acquired by Arch Capital Group in 2019.

Lacouture has been with Arch Syndicate since its acquisition as the head of long tail lines. Prior to that, she was with Syndicate 1995's former owner Barbican Insurance Group.
