ING has announced a significant expansion of its ATM network in Spain through a collaboration with NCR Atleos Corporation. This initiative will see the deployment of over 740 new ATMs across the country, allowing ING's "Cuenta Nómina" customers to withdraw cash without incurring fees. The project, expected to take approximately 12 months, is part of ING's strategy to enhance customer convenience and strengthen its presence in Spain. NCR Atleos will manage the entire ATM network, including installation, maintenance, and security, under an ATM as a Service (ATMaaS) model. This partnership allows ING to efficiently grow its ATM footprint, focusing on customer experience without the complexities of managing the network internally.
