GRC (SGX:S3N) was awarded a building works contract by the Housing & Development Board worth SG$242.7 million through its subsidiary, Chip Eng Seng Contractors, according to a late Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the property developer surged nearly 8% in recent trading.

The project includes the construction of five residential blocks, two pavilions and communal facilities, with construction to start in the second half of 2025.
